The 4010 fan used to cool the mainboard is weak and the 4020 fan used in the PSU sounds like a jet engine when it comes on. This mod addresses both of those issues by placing a Noctua 92mm fan at the front for mainboard cooling and directly over the PSU at the rear for PSU cooling. You do need to remove the PSU cover to allow the fan to do its work and, as usual with Noctua fans, you'll need buck converters to drop the 24v source to the 12v that the fans require. I left the 4020 PSU fan connected to act as a warning. It will still turn on if the PSU detects it's getting too warm. It has not come on once since I made this modification.
Bonus: I've discovered that if you want an even quieter printer you can buck the voltage down a bit below 12v and still have adequate cooling. Honestly though, it's a diminishing return. The reduced noise is not proportional to the reduced airflow. I'd recommend leaving it at 12v.
