I made this to hang my cleaning rod on the wall and out of the way so it wouldn't get damaged or bent.  I modeled this around part number “Proof-Positive Bore Stix, 6mm-.270 Cal”.  The fit is a little snug so I'm guessing smaller calibers would also fit but probably not anything larger.

I used three #10 sheet metal screws for attaching to the wall.
