This is another cube dissection. It illustrates that the volume of a pyramid is one third the volume of a prism with the same base and height.
It also makes a neat puzzle. The cube has been cut into three identical pyramids. Try to reassemble it.

Print three of the pieces and they will assemble into a cube.
Each of the three pieces is an identical skewed pyramid. Because it takes all three pyramids to make a cube you can see that each pyramid has one third the volume of the square. This is a general property of all pyramids, however this is only an illustration of one instance.
