Original STL files were edited using Tinkercad.

Supports - Knight: yes, Finials: yes. The rest - maybe, depending on filament and your printer and your slicer settings. I needed support on the skin (light pieces) to get the finials and the inverted cone "collars" to print right. The Black Cherry (dark pieces) didn't need any except for the knight and finials.

Recommend gyroid support at 5% on the knights and any other pieces to make it easier to remove support. I used the CURA support blocker feature to keep only the needed areas (especially under the knight's face). For the stand alone finials, I recommend zigzag support at 5%. Support here was needed to make the finials stand up on the print bed. I used brims on all pieces.

Depending on your set up, you may not need to fuss with the settings as I did. The two different filament brands took considerably different settings between the white and red pieces.

I recommend using 25% infill. Early test pieces with zero and five percent infills broke on the long, slender pieces.

The chess board is my build of https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3753536. I rescaled the pieces to the size I wanted and omitted the folding feature.

Just scraped off the brim flashing and removed supports where necessary. I will felt the bottoms and may use a coat of clear polyurethane depending on how the test pieces I paint look.

I modeled these after pictures of "Latvian Chess Sets" I saw on Etsy. Apparently a set of this type was used on the streaming series Queen's Gambit. I used Tinkercad to modify the existing files.

I added length to all pieces to accentuate the tall, slender look of the set. I added the "neck" back to the pawn and bishop. Modified the knight a little by adding a facet on the nose and rounding the edges slightly. The knight is a little more crude than the other pieces but the real sets used hand carved knights that were fairly simple.

The King and Queen finials are detached so they can be color swapped as on the original sets. They should be glued in place.
