When I originally ordered my Ender 3, I also purchased a few stepper motor dampeners. To my dismay, the stepper motors had press-fit pulleys, preventing me from being able to use most of them. (only the extruder could accommodate a damper) I was pretty bummed until I ran across matthijsp's Y-axis stepper motor damper spacer. What a great idea, but it required some additional hardware that I did have laying around, so I created this little remix. It allow all of the original screws to be reused, and does not require anything else.

Post-Printing
Mount Install
Required:
* 1 x stepper motor damper
Steps:
- Power down printer
- Remove wires from y-axis stepper motor and end stop
- Remove the stepper motor screws (4 x M3*6mm)
- Remove the stepper mount plate screws (2 x M4*16mm)
- Remove the end stop screws (2 x M3*6mm)
- Remove the end stop mount screws (2 x M4*16mm)
- Attach stepper motor to spacer with 2 x M3*6mm screws
(ensure the stepper plug will be facing down when mounted to printer) 8. Connect the belt to the stepper motor 9. Attach the stepper damper to spacer with 2 x M416mm screws 10. Attach the end stop switch to the new mount with 2 x M36mm screws 11. Attach the new mount to the y-axis with the 2 x M4*16mm screws
(easiest to attach bottom screw first, then the top one) 12. Attach the other stepper damper to the new mount with the remaining 2 x M3*6mm screws
(I attached the top screw first then rotated the stepper assembly back, which adds tension to the belt, and fixed it in place with the second screw) 13. Reattach stepper motor and end stop connectors
It's a good idea to make sure the belt is still under proper tension and remains centered when moving the bed back and forth.
