Simple wall lamp

I needed a simple wall lamp and designed this. It's fixed with four screws over a simple 5$ light socket.

I must say, I'm very pleased with it! It looks great! Direct light is defused on the sides but lets direct light through the top and the bottom.

Even if it's well ventilated, I would advice against using an incandescent bulb because of the heat. Be safe and use an LED bulb instead! You could try one of these intelligent ones and play with the colours!?

The top and bottom lids are optional and are simply glued to the main body.

Take time to look at the print settings, this is where the magic happens!

3% Gyroid

The 3% gyroid infill shows through and give a quite nice marble look to the lamp You can experiment with percentage and type of infill to get other types of look but 3% gyroid is pretty sweet!

In cura, when in preview mode, open the "Line type" panel and uncheck 'Shell" to see what the infill will look like (as shown in the photos).

I went for two layers wall thickness witch gives it a good rigidity but still quite transparent.

No support material needed.
