I have a Creality Ender-3 V3 KE and the spool holder that came with it is just a solid bar, so the spool is constantly rubbing against it. I wanted the spool to spin more freely and this is what I came up with. 

Compatibility

I believe there are quite a few Creality printers that this mod will work on, but apart from the Ender-3 V3 KE, I don't know any exact models. As long as it has a metal plate with a (30mm diameter) round hole, it should fit perfectly. 

Dimensions

The rolling part is 80mm wide and the outer diameter of the edge is 49.8mm. This should fit all 1kg spools but I would still recommend checking if your spools will fit.

Printing

• Set the seam position to random for the bearings
• Lower outer wall speed for the bearings (about 40mm/s)
• 2 Perimeters is fine
• Clean print bed for best adhesion
• I printed it in PLA but other materials might work too

Assembly

1. Remove old spool holder
2. Insert the “Clamp” from behind
3. Insert the “Bar” from the front into the “clamp” (be sure it is in the right orientation)
4. Slide on the "Clamp Cap" and screw it on;
5. Slide on the “Bearing With Roller”
6. Slide on the “Bearing”
7. Click the “C-Clip” to hold it together
