Hello,

I found the original LED kit quite ugly, so I designed new brackets and a diffuser to fit it. The inclination is made at 45° to better distribute the light.

You can manage the wires into the support (see photos) and hide it in the Voron extrusions rails. By security i put a piece of shrink tubing near to the aluminium rail to protect of cutting edges.

On the photo the Voron logo is reverse on the right side because I made a mirror on the part, the stl file is corrected. If this interests you, here are the printing tips:

Support R & L : ABS infill 40% @ 0.2 mm (Voron ABS print recommendation)
Diffuser : PETG transp, infill 100% @ 0.1 mm ironing mod activated

Print in stl orientation, no supports.

For the mounting on the extrusion i use 2 M3 x 20 SHCS ( a little short, but 25 mm did not pass) and 2 M3 Tnut.

If you want to modify it you can access with the public Onshape doc “Formbot led mod” and if you do not want to print the new light diffuser, there is a model by Doba which keeps the original rounded:
