Small enclosure for the 3x4 Phone-style Matrix Keypad. This is made for the model they sell at ThePiHut (3x4 Phone-style Matrix Keypad | The Pi Hut).
I had to change the distance of the pins on the short side down to 45 mm even though the actual sketch said it was supposed to be 46 mm to make it fit.
The case is 64 mm wide and 72 mm long. The total height of the case is 21.5 mm where the bottom is 20 mm. Hole for wires at the bottom, being 10 x 20 mm.
Lid is snap fit, so you it can be a bit hard to take off ones first assembled.
Warning: The fit for the actual keypad is tight and if you need to take it out again you might risk breaking the four little pins that holds it in place. I suggest wiring it before assembly. There is pretty much no tolerance in the holes keeping the keypad fixed to the bottom.
Printing instructions:
Print the lid with the top down and the bottom with the bottom down. Supports might be needed for the hole on the bottom side of the case.
The model in the picture is printed on a Bambu P1S with:
- Filament: Bambu PLA Basic
- Infill: 15%, Gyroid
- Supports: Yes
- Adhesion: No
