A simplified but yet complete, reverse-engineered (to my best ability) U.S. General Mini Toolbox that can be used for reference and designs.
All dimensions are taken from a physical mini toolbox and may be accurate within 0.05mm tolerance, depending on your mini toolbox. If opened on Fusion and changed the positions of the drawer, the extended drawer travel of this 3D model is done on purpose, as I have modified the toolbox's sliders to extend around 105mm compared to the stock drawer travel of around 85mm. This is done to allow more space to reach from the back of the drawer without compromising functionality.
Instructions on modifying the sliders are in the PDF file. If you have any questions or issues, let me know.
Additional yap on why…
I created this 3D model because I had a hard time finding an accurate version to work with in Fusion. Despite searching, I couldn't find anything precise enough to design around and ensure proper fit, something important to satisfy my perfectionism (at least to a certain extent).
This is my first time fully polishing and organizing the model for public use. The Fusion browser has been structured for easy navigation, making parts and bodies easy to identify. If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to leave a comment or send a message.
