Includes gold inlay as a separate model for a flush finish for MMU capable printers or dual extruders. Print both lower-art-v4.2.stl and lower-mmu-v4.2.stl together as separate materials, similarly for upper-art-v4.2.stl and upper-mmu-v4.2.stl. Finally Puzzle_Cube_v4_core.stl and Puzzle_Cube_v4_slider.stl can be printed separately. Assembly instructions in video.

You can even print using a single material and the patterns will be preserved in the seams and top/bottom fill for a subtle effect. This might be further emphasized using a colour changing filament.

For best results, your printer must be dialled in for a perfect first layer and capable of reproducing 0.4mm clearances. Good bed adhesion is a must for all those fiddly bits. I've tried many surfaces and always return to textured plastic for this reason. Variable line width doesn't really help with the fine details, either. Try keeping it 0.4mm maximum (this is done in Cura by setting a 0.2mm minimum line width).
