Designed to fit the motor, fan, and solar cells from the Amazon item KingBra Summer Sport Outdoor Hat Cap with Solar Sun Power Cool Fan for Cycling.

After 3d scanning a hat with Photogrammety (used my cell phone + AGI Metashapes) I designed this in Rhino 6. I placed patterned tape on the hat face during the photo process, to give the algorithm more pattern match points.

I chose to solder new wires, and place heat shrink tubing. This is not required, there should be ample room for the excess wire, underneath the fan inlet cowling.

I also chose to paint the fan black, so it does not draw more attention. It is barely visible inside the inlet cowling.

Print instructions

Must be printed with supports. Print in material which will not soften under direct sunlight (I chose PETg).

The included Gcode file is:

• Temps for PET/PETg
• 0.15 Speed profile, 150 travel, 50 perimeter
• Supports from Build Plate with Z contact of 0.15mm
