This is a little adapter that allows you to attach point and shoot cameras containing a tripod socket to a GoPro mount. I made this so I could easily interchange between my Canon S100 and my GoPro on my drone when doing aerial photography.

What you will need:
1 x 1/4 by 1 inch UNc 20 hexhead bolt

Printing:
I printed this on my Replicator 2 at 20% infill, 0.3mm layer height and 3 walls.

Assembly:
The part is designed so when you slot the bolt into the hexagonal recess in the correct orientation it will screw completely into the tripod screw socket (5mm deep) and finish with the mount facing perpendicular with the screen.

If you find that you screw the part all the way into the camera and it is offset by some multiple of 30 degrees, unscrew the part and rotate the bolt in the hexagonal recess. Try screwing it into the camera again and see if it lines up flush this time. Rinse and repeat until it mounts perfectly.

If you're tripod hole is not 5mm deep or it simply won't line up you can try putting washers or double sided tape in-between the camera body and part to adjust the angle.
