Summary
This is a modified version of a design from "Sermelo" found here.
The case is made for WLED Sound Reactive housing that allows room for a microphone to be mounted in the case.
I made a few modifications to their design to better fit a project I'm working on. For starters, I enlarged the opening at the end for the cables. The original design allows enough room for the three-wire pigtail from an LED strip. However, I will be powering my ESP32 and the short LED strip from a USB C cord. I enlarged the opening to fit the USB C.
In addition to the above, I replicated the microphone hole on the bottom of the case, allowing the mic to be mounted on the top or bottom. You probably can't fit the same mic he used on the bottom hole, but I'm using a much slimmer mic that won't take up much space inside the case.
I'm very new to modifying/sharing designs; this is my first. Please let me know if I've made any mistakes in my attribution so I can make it right. I am also happy to tinker with the design a bit more to fit anyone else's needs - I'm trying to learn as much as I can!
