Gridfinity is supposed to let you easily see what you have, so “lids” aren't really part of its shtick. But sometimes, you need lids! Like parts you want to protect from drips or dust.
Lids that come off as a separate piece aren't great: you have to figure out what to do with it, and it can get lost.
Lids that slide aren't great either: your bin with a lid is on a grid, next to other bins: a sliding lid will bonk into its neighbor!
So, a lid that you can easily open, which closes itself and can't get lost, while staying in the footprint of the bin. The lid attaches firmly and pivots easily.
The brims are included, and i've included sizes of 2x2 and 3x2; comment if you need a variant! Onshape link is available on request; i derived it from the parametric onshape gridfinity by unrepentantgeek
Enjoy!
Edit 2025-09-21 – added 4x2x8 and 2x2x8 sizes, haven't tested them.
