Summary

I want to start by saying this shell mod is a moderate level mod. You have to remove the DIM port off the VB to install wires and a short SD card board that MrBlinky uses on his dim tool. If you cant figure things out on the fly this mod isnt for you. Some things might need to be cut or trimmed to make work. I know there will be questions I will try to help where I can but this isnt a mod for the normal person. But I feel this mod is at a point if you really wanted it you could make one.

This mod also requires you to cut down a Jyoshi button PCB from the D3 mod. You will need to also cut the ground traces on the pcb and wire the buttons to the legs of the switches. After that you run the 2 wires on the button to the buttons on the VB. This shell is pushing the limits on size and arrangement abilities. The Lcd for the vital hero must come out of the plastic housing as well. I would advise using a Vital Hero as they stall have the metal around the lcd. You will put the device in the sled and will have to cut the end tab down on the sled this is log because you might need more space to hold down the buttons. I do plan to make one where the pcb is held in place. After you have the button pcb you cut down fitting right and the sled holding it in place you will use 4 screws to hold the sled in place. After that you will use a USBC break out board to get power to the device. I also moved the NFC tag to the back of the device in the back housing,. So you will need longer wires to reach the back housing. I held it in place with tape. I used M3 X 18MM screws to hold the back on.

Added the SenseiZabuza button layout from his printable D2 pcb. This will make it where you dont have to cut a jyoshi pcb down for the buttons. I print it with the edge that is the top on the build plate using supports
