RC Plane Snow Ski Set includes main ski, tail ski, mounts and spacers. Designed for the Turbo Timber Evolution, but the main skis will work with other similar sized planes as well.

The mounts are designed to fit the Turbo Timber Evolution and are attached using a zip tie like the picture shows.

With the mounts the skis are held in an upward landing angle by the rubber band while in flight.

If the mount is incompatible (other models than TTE), the skis can be attached with a rubber band to the front of the fuselage and a wire to the rear of the fuselage. This will keep them in a desired angled direction for landing, but the drawback is that the horizontal offset of attachment point causes the skis to be slightly angled inward as well.

The ski surface can be made to glide better on wet snow by melting candle wax on it. This added about 2 gram per ski.

The pic in flight shows an older iteration where rubber bands and wire were attached inward causing a small inward angle, but this doesn’t apply to this current design, which is straight.
