Summary
This is a replacement trigger for a Ryobi 40v String Trimmer/Edger. Within 3 weeks of purchasing my trimmer the trigger broke off very close to the pivot point inside the handle. This was because of the safety doing its job by keeping the trimmer from operating accidentally, In short I set it down in a way that tried to pull the trigger, and it snapped off instead to bursting into rotation. I have been using it with the minimalist stub of a trigger left for way too long. I decided to take it apart and design a new trigger. I made it a bit more beefy. I've been using it for a few weeks, and its working great and holding up just as great. so I figured it was time to share.
