This is a base layer designed for Raspberry Pi automation of a model railway or other electronics with a DC motor.

It allows a Raspberry Pi to be installed at one side which can be mounted directly or using a PiBow, and at the other side either two L298N H-bridge motor controller boards or one motor controller and a mini-breadboard.

This puts all the electronics onto a single board, which can then be mounted under a railway (for use indoors) or inside a weatherproof box if used for an outdoor model railway (such as G-Scale)
