Summary
This is a very basic and perhaps unsophisticated fly swatter. My aim was to make it as simple as possible and not introduce any fitting problems. So there is no pushing one part into another, etc. The protruding spigots of the locking washer locate in the swatter and handle at the same time. A very basic nut and bolt fixing holds it all together.
You could easily buy a cheap swatter, but this was my first attempt at printing in nylon. As I also needed a fly swatter, I was testing out the flexibility of nylon and it seemed to work fine.

This must be printed using nylon filament. PLA or ABS would simply produce a solid ornament. Nylon is needed for the flexibility.
Post-Printing
Assembly
The assembly is very simple. The locking washer locates through six holes of the swatter, sufficient for the handle to then locate on the locking washer. The two parts are held together by a nut and bolt.
The hole matrix of the swatter is not symmetrical. For the locking washer to be fitted and be positioned exactly in the centre, the wider band of the swatter should be facing away from the handle (see photo).
