Casing for a remote camera trigger. The case fits nicely in a (small) hand.

There's cutouts for two push-buttons and a rocker switch. Also a cutout for the cable to exit.

Print the 2 halves; fit the circuit; glue the halves together. (Make sure it works first!)

Image is of prototype; working on finished trigger:

• Printing at 60% fill
• Clean cutouts (make sure buttons fit)
• Acetone wash (& abs fill) to smooth out print
• Test all electronics while waiting for plastic to cure
• Sand and wipe-down casing to provide a better surface for rubberizer
• Fit and hot-glue electronics (make sure to install a cable strain relief)
• Test all electronics again
• Glue/acetone casing halves together; sand seam
• Mask off buttons/wire/etc; spray with rubberizer/plastidip

2011-07-14: Finished! I decided not to plastidip the casing. (The cap is glued slightly off center too; meh.) I used a 16 foot audio cable, giving me a large range to play with. Make sure when testing it that all your cables are good!
