I wasn't pleased with factory filament hangers, as I couldn't use 2 rear ones, so I redesigned it. Makes possible to have the printer closer to wall. The assembly can be made with 608 bearings or 635 bearings. Depending on the bearing size you may need to substitute hardware.
Required parts:
2 x Plate.stl
8 x Roller 608
4 x Spacer 1 608 Roller
6 x Spacer 2 608 Roller
16 x 608 Bearings
2 x 380mm M8 DIN 975 threaded rod
4 x M8 DIN 315 wingnuts
If you prefer 635 bearings, then substitute printed parts to 635 parts and M8 hardware for M5 hardware. I'd advise to wash out standard bearing grease to make the bearings easier to roll.
To assemble remove original spool mounting brackets. Using same DIN 912 bolts install the printed plates. Start threading through the threaded rod. Thinner spacer 1 parts are installed between plate and the roller. Thicker spacer 2 is installed between 2 rollers. Thread them one by one and thread on nuts. Do not overtighten the threaded rod nuts, as it will make bearings bind. Enjoy printing with your Flashforge Creator 5!
