Designed to protect the base and/or top and help handling with a 2.5" herb grinder or mill. Anodized finishes are slick by nature. Which is great on the inside. Not so much on the outside. Grip on the ceramic grinder was already sufficient. But my Flower Mill needed something. Printed in TPU for grip, flex and soft protection. Cheers!
