Liperin kirkko is Finnish and it means in English Church of Liperi. Liperi is Nord Karelian province in Finland. The church is one of the province's landmarks.

My great great grandfather was vicar when the church was build.

The church was designed by achhitect Georg Theodor Chiewitz. The neo-Gothic red brick church was completed in 1858.
