A simple label holder that is strapped with raw 1.75mm TPU filament.
Features:
- Reusable.
- Adjustable.
- Reasonably strong.
- Holds to whatever you attach the label to.
- Lips protect the label so it is unlikely to detach.
Downsides:
- A little hard to insert the TPU. (When I get annoyed enough I will look at solving that problem).
- Inserting an adhesive label is also a little finicky because of the overhangs.
Printing Notes:
I print this with 0.6mm nozzle with 0.3mm layer height on a P1S. I have tried PLA and PETG. Currently prefer PLA.
No supports.
How to use
- From the side stretch and pull TPU filament into a side hole.
- Adjust the desired tail length
- Wrap object that needs a label.
- Stretch pull TPU filament into other side hole and pull the label tight to object.
- Cut remaining TPU tail.
