Wired Ring door bells do not have a suitable mounting option for replacing the legacy door bell button if it is installed in a standard switch/outlet box. This adaptor uses the standard switch mounting screws to mount the plate, then allows the Ring doorbell to slip in from the top, and be secured by a top band and a bottom screw. The screw is a M2*8mm torx.
