Goal here was to design a simple, sturdy camera holder that would keep my old iPhone 6 held at a 90 degree angle on a flat surface.

Many may not be aware that you can use old phones, tablets, ipod touches, etc. as home security devices. The app I use, presence, allows both rear and front facing camera views when accessing remotely, so having both cameras at a useful angle was key. If it's tilted up or down, only one camera is useful.

I am planning on creating another version that a small mirror can be glued to at a 45 degree angle to allow watching around both sides of a corner.

Another improvement would be a small 5v motor running a swivel back and forth.

This same concept can also be used as a DIY baby or print monitor.

Please let me know if you'd like the file widened for your personal device, I know I need to make another for iPhone 7 since it is slightly wider.
