If you happen to have bought the same Kobalt Tool Box style from Lowes all of those years ago, you probably have the same problem I have. The plastic caps that go at the ends of the aluminum handles like to fall off an disappear. The exposed edge is pretty sharp so I finally decided to recreate them. Its a very tight fit so they should not randomly fall off. To get them on, get it started (takes a little force) and then use a hammer to tap it home. Shouldnt fall off after that.
