After trying several one piece strap designs i moved to a two piece model. I found that single piece designs would not remain attached to the straps under all conditions and string diameters.

This two piece design allows the straps to be attached in a closed loop attachment that never fails ( under reasonable use... ) The attachment barbs allow for different sizes making this one design available to a large population of head sizes.
