Designed to be pressed into c-mount lense and has a snug fit. The orange TPU was a good choice since it is easier to find, assuming you are probably here because you lost your original black lense cap.

I printed at .2 mm layer height and it fit. If printed at .28mm, or higher, I assume the layers may possibly provide more grip on the lense threads.
