An adapter for connecting the suck it dust boot to the Shapeoko 3 Z Plus plate.

This requires:

• Two prints of these parts
• Four M3 threaded heat inserts
• Four M3 screws
• 12 1/2" magnets (2 stacks of 3 on each side)
• Two t-nuts or nuts and washers for the back of the slots (to replace the large 3D printed nuts that come with the boot)

Alternatively, you could probably friction weld or glue the two parts together and skip the inserts and screws.

I used

• 1/2" magnets from Lee Valley
• These inserts from Amazon.

First use a soldering iron to embed the threaded inserts. Then stack and insert the magnets into the holes. Screw the parts together and slide the adapters onto the plate from the top. Finally insert the legs into the grooves and tighten against the nuts.
