My Kobra 3 is placed on the shelf, and I struggled to use the screen.

After this modification, the screen looks right to me.

The adapter should be printed on the "cut" for the best layer orientation. I require just a bit of brim.

Necessary stuff to make it work:

• (optional*) 41-pin FFC FPC cable, ~250 mm length. The necessary modification has "Sony" in the name and is 24mm wide from the side. Although I bought one with sockets on both sides, I disassembled one.
• A few M4 screws and nuts

*Note: It could probably work with the stock FPC cable, but I already had one. Besides, it could be too short. I have installed a 300mm one, and it's a bit long. But it "nicely" folded under the fan.

Steps to apply:

1. Unplug the screen cable and unscrew the screen from the hinge.
2. Get rid of the bottom printer cover, use hex to unscrew two screws.
3. Unplug the existing cable, or fold it to reverse it if you haven't bought a new one.
4. Screw the bottom cover back.
5. Screw the poligonal side of the adapter to a screen as on the photo two.
6. Now, use M4 bolts and nuts, and assemble the rectangular side of the adapter to the hinge.
7. Plug the cable.
