I scored a free rigid futon off the garbage. heck yeah I was taking that. its the solid ones with a fixed bottom fixed back that folds flat (not the frame with cushion type) anyway it has 4 metal legs and 2 were missing the plastic scuff feet inserts.

I thought HEY I have a 3d Printer now. I bet I can make em!

measured 3DS print. just 2 cylinders. for some reason it came out exactly 1mm smaller than I designed. I designed the insert for 73mm it printed 72mm. odd so I scaled it up 1mm and it was super tight fit. got it partly in took my palm and WHACK. smacked right into place. its NEVER coming out without destroying it. Looks factory perfect fit. Nice.

the first one (which I will still use since I need two and don't want to waste it) is also neat since it has no top or bottom (oops I turned that off for printing my rocket tubes and forgot to reset that setting fixed for the black one)

will add some tape to this one to friction fit it and use it as well.

I doubt this will be useful to anyone else unless you have the exact same futon but what the heck might as well post it. I designed it and its genuinely useful. I am happy. fixed a free garbage score for about 25 cents in plastic.

the fuzz in the black one was not printed. thats just some residue when I dremeled the edge to make it easier to insert into the leg.
