I was in the need of a new extruder for my TAZ, so I thought why not use my recent customizations to my other printers? As I was using the L3K extruder and it performs good enough I started this little project to create an adapter to attach an L3K extruder to the TAZ. It has two parts: The first is just the plate to be attached to the TAZ's gantry. Easy to print on ABS as it is flat. The second part is the real L3K adapter that keeps firmly attached the extruder to the plate. Modular design to be able to redesign one part without reprint the whole thing. Remember to add support to the touchplate in the L3K adapter, I choose to print it this way to increase the strength of the part in the X direction (where the stress is on). You will need some M4 bolts, a M3 long bolt ans some nuts, and of course the L3K extruder. See also my other L3K extruder designs for possible improvements.
