As Google Maps can be downloaded to various devices, my 12 year old GPS is redundant. I dislike using the phone for GPS and prefer the larger screen of a mini iPad. This is a holder for a mini iPad to allow its easy positioning for GPS usage.

The view angle is 30 degrees and the width of the holder is set to the mini iPad 4 thickness: both of these can be changed, along with all the other measures, in the OpenSCAD file.

Two small squares have been indented in the base to allow for Velcro fasteners to be inserted.These are required for stability.

This was desiged for the Honda CRV but can be adapted for most makes and models. It can also be used as desktop holder for an iPad as well.

PLANNED REVISION: Add support butress at the back. Add extender legs for extra desktop stability
