Stand to hold toothbrush facing down. I had one of these brushes fail, when I took it apart to see what went bad found the on/off switch improperly soldered to the circuit board. Also noted that the top of the motor was corroded. The rubber seal doesn't stop water from seeping thru when the brush is stored with the battery compartment on the bottom.
