Hi everyone,
On a competing platform for sharing designs, you can find an adapter for the C5 that’s designed to be slipped over the original rubber feet. I consider this solution risky because, in that design, the contact surface with the printer base is small, unstable, and can quickly become deformed. Additionally, this contact surface isn’t uniform across our printers. My proposal is based on the original contact surface but requires unscrewing the original rubber feet. Of course, this is just an adapter; you’ll still need the original, remaining HULA components. As for the material, I suggest TPU 68D or a harder grade, since this material has excellent interlayer adhesion. And we’re aiming for a durable print. Of course, PETG will work as well.
