I designed this mount to position a SUNLU S2 filament dryer above my Bambu Lab P2S for printing flexible materials such as TPU and TPE.
The design is based on scan data from the SUNLU S2 Filament Dryer Big Base, which I modified to slide into the mount with a secure, tight fit.
For easier printing, I splitted it into two parts and aligned using two hexagonal plugs. After printing the first half, I realized that it needed clearance for the dryer’s power cable. The uploaded model includes this opening. However, because one half had already been printed I added the opening to the remaining half in the slicer. Splitting the updated model again would have changed the exact position of the alignment plugs, making it difficult to match the already-printed part.
I also drilled an additional mounting hole on the opposite side, allowing the mount to be installed either behind the printer or on its right side.
Print settings:
Material: ELEGOO PETG-GF
Walls: 4
Infill: 15% gyroid
0.6mm nozzle, 0,3mm layer height
The two printed halves were joined using Gorilla Super Glue Gel. I also used the downsweep version (blue part) of the dryer spacer from here https://makerworld.com/en/models/1120279-sunlu-s2-filament-dryer-spacer-and-ptfe-fitting#profileId-1320079
