Hygrometer Stand (Parametric, Fusion 360)

This is my first published model and a practical learning project while getting up to speed with Fusion 360.

I purchased a 4-pack of small digital hygrometers and temperature sensors and ended up using them all over the house—not just in filament storage. A couple live on filament tubs, but the extras were constantly being moved around and left loose on desks and countertops. I wanted a simple, stable stand to keep them upright and readable.

As part of the learning process, I designed this stand to be fully parametric in Fusion 360. Early on, I modeled the circular cutout to exactly match the hygrometer diameter (41 mm), which turned out to be a bit too tight. Because the model was parametric, fixing this was as simple as changing a single dimension—Fusion automatically updated the entire design.

The result is a clean, minimal stand that prints easily and keeps these small hygrometers from sliding around, while also serving as a good example of why parametric modeling is worth the effort.
