The cap slips on easily. There is a small amount of play depending on how you align the seams. If you want you could add a small amount of foam around it.

Printed with Polyterra Matte PLA. (Any PLA should be fine.) Just about 1 hour print time.

I used a 0.28 layer height, 4 walls, and a 10% gyroid infill.
