Additional modular vertical storage components that can be used to hold remote controls or other miscellaneous items for the IKEA HOL tables. As I personally use the storage table as a beside table, I often find myself losing the remote control hence I design a storage tool that cleverly utilises the “gaps” in the table design.

Comes in 4 different sizes:

1. extra small : 65mm x 65mm x 65mm ≈ 69g
2. small : 100mm x 65mm x 65mm ≈ 90g
3. medium : 140mm x 85mm x 85mm ≈  143g
4. large : 180mm x 105mm x 105mm ≈ 207g

* The size of each “gap” in the IKEA HOL table is approximately 20mm and the thickness of the gap is approximately 5mm hence the design is intended to have the walls flush to the gaps neatly.

Due to the inconsistency between the gaps and thickness of the table, it is normal for the vertical storage compartment to vary in fitting between each slot location. Completed multiple rounds of iterations and prototyping to get the best compromise in fit and tolerance.
