Today I made a mini USB Hub holder for my Phecda.
I use this because I don't want to lay 2-3-4 USB cables to the laser, as I can easily connect a camera and the laser itself, and what's to come.
But the hub has a fourth port at the back end.

The hub is screwed directly into the frame with 2x M3x8mm Allen screws, for which I drilled two 2.5mm holes 74mm apart and cut M3 threads in, 75mm would probably also work.
Make sure that they do not protrude too far on the inside, otherwise they could collide with the rollers or axles of the Y carriage.

The HUB is from ALI Express and is very small and very cheap USB Hub 
I also found a suitable USB A to B cable at Ali. Unfortunately, I ordered the wrong one.
You need USB-A left sided and USB-B right sided. I wanted to shorten it but it turned out that way. USB Cabel
I use a simple 1,5m USB-A extension cable for the connection LINK
