Ever lose those convenient thumb screws that come with your PC case? This simple, quick-printing adapter is the perfect replacement. It allows you to take standard #6-32 screws and instantly convert them into tool-less thumb screws for your computer panels, casing, or server chassis.

Perfect for DIY NAS & Storage Builds

Beyond standard PC cases, these thumb screws are incredibly handy for securing hard disks in custom server enclosures or ZFS storage arrays where you might need quick, tool-less access to swap drives. I originally used these in combination with an excellent 3.5" HDD Rack/Caddy for my own DIY NAS setup.

Print Instructions & Settings:

• Material: PETG (Recommended for extra durability).
• Layer Height: 0.12 mm is highly recommended to get really crisp, clean detail on the knurling. (0.2 mm is probably fine too, but 0.12 mm looks best!).
• Infill: 15-20% is plenty.
• Supports: None required.
• Assembly: Simply press or thread your existing #6-32 screw into the adapter. A drop of superglue can be added for a permanent hold if desired.
