📐 Available Sizes & Compatibility

To ensure a perfect fit, please check your desk thickness before printing. I have uploaded optimized print profiles for the most common desk sizes:

• 18 mm (Standard slim desks)
• 25 mm (Most common IKEA desks like Lagkapten, Linnmon, and standard gaming desks)
• 30 mm (Thicker solid wood or heavy-duty office desks)
• 38 mm (Thick countertops and custom battlestation desks like IKEA Karlby)

Note:  Do not scale the model in your slicer, as scaling will distort the controller cradle dimensions. Just choose the profile that matches your desk thickness!

🖨️ Recommended Print Settings

For the best structural strength and surface finish, I highly recommend the following settings:

• Orientation: Print the model on its side (horizontal). Printing it on its side aligns the layer lines horizontally, which prevents the upper clamp from snapping under tension.
• Material: PLA works great for general stiffness. If your desk is slightly thicker than the profile and you need more flexibility, PETG is an excellent alternative.
• Infill: 15% to 20% (Gyroid or Grid for optimal strength).
• Wall Loops / Perimeter: At least 3 or 4 walls. This is crucial for the springiness and durability of the desk clamp.
• Supports: No supports needed if printed on its side! (Supports may only be required if your bridging settings aren't fully tuned for the inner upper corner, but standard cooling handles it easily).
