A Minimalist Candle Mold!

This mold can be used to create a shaped candle, either as a gift or simply for home decor!

What do you need for this?

• Wax
• Candle wicks
• Wax coloring (optional)
• Filament (Overture PLA)
• Fragrance oil (I used a pine scent, it smells great!)

From these materials, you can create a candle just like the pictures!

How to make the candle?

• Heat and melt your wax (mix it with coloring and fragrance oil if you have)
• Optional - Grease the inside of the mold for easier release (You can use mold release, vaseline, cooking oil, etc.)
• Use some rubber bands to hold the two halves of the mold together and tape the seams up to prevent leakage.
• Place the wick inside (make sure it is centered)
• Pour the wax into the mold all the way to the top (Tip: The wax shrinks as it cools, so come back in 20-30 minutes and top it up with wax again)
• Wait at least an hour until the wax hardens
• Open the mold and remove the finished candle!
