What it is
This 3D file is a hook that fits over the clock movement body and uses the movement's own shaft/front nut to stay firmly attached, without the need for glue or additional screws.
The part creates an upper triangular attachment point, allowing you to easily hang 3D Printed clocks, wooden plates, acrylic, or other thin dials.

Printing recommendations
- Suggested material: PLA, PETG, ABS, or ASA, with 0.2 mm layer height, 2–3 perimeters, and 20–30% infill, to ensure sufficient rigidity in the hook although 2 perimeters and 100% infill were used.
- The part was designed to be printed mostly without supports, but in the model some light supports were used to improve the finish in the hole area and the transition to the upper triangle.
- Orient the part “lying down” (flat face on the build plate) to maximize strength in the triangle area; after printing, simply fit the holder over the mechanism, retighten the shaft nut, and the clock is ready to be hung.
