These two square gears mesh when turned.  

 There is a12 mm diameter threaded shaft that goes through the clog and a backup nut to retain the gear set on the clog.  Let me know if you need a different length threaded shaft.

Printing each component in a different color seems to enhance the presentation.

The gears are retained on their axles with sea clamps.
