The appearance of the structure

The entire hat is 3D-printed in one piece, featuring a hemispherical dome-shaped cap body with a round bead-like top button and a flat, wide round brim. The cap body symmetrically extends vertically with two segmented long plumes, each with layered patterns replicating the texture of pheasant feathers. It recreates the traditional crown hat's double plume design. The brim is equipped with small holes, allowing the addition of beaded pendants and a supporting rod for display and placement.

Adapted for printing process

It is recommended to print with PLA/PETG filament. The feather has a thin, suspended structure, so you need to add tree-like supports during printing. The overall one-piece model does not require secondary assembly. The segmented structure of the feathers reduces the risk of printing warping and breaking, and the clear surface layer patterns can be polished and colored later.

Use cases

The prototype is based on the traditional ancient Chinese phoenix-crested official hats and Korean ancient-style black hats. It can be used as a white model for Hanfu, ancient-style film and television, and Korean-style cosplay props. After coloring and painting, it can restore a complete headgear. The base holes can be paired with a stand to make a desktop decoration or a model collection in a showcase.

1. The dome hat is molded in one piece, and its curvature fits the head perfectly, ensuring a comfortable fit for people of basic head sizes;

2. Two long feathers are fixed symmetrically on the sides of the hat body, and the segmented texture simulates the layered structure of natural feathers;

3. The wide and flat round hat brim is lightweight and non-deformable. The edge is provided with installation holes, allowing you to hang pendant chain accessories on it;

4. The top round bead button replicates the design of the traditional top bead on the cap, with all the details intact
