This is a replacement Control Card (Part No. B2839) for use with a Hakko FP-102 Soldering Station. This is the "key" that needs to be inserted into the slot on the front face of the soldering station in order to use the soldering station and unlock the control function buttons. Once the soldering station has started heating to the desired temperature, you can remove the Control Card again to prevent the settings from being changed.
I made this model in TinkerCAD, working from my measurements of an original Control Card. Hakko no longer sells the Control Card for this old model of soldering station, so I wanted to make my own in the event that I lost the original card.
Print settings:
PLA (0.20 mm, Quality)
No brim or supports necessary.
PRINT THIS IN OPAQUE BLACK OR A SIMILAR DARK COLOR. I printed my first one in translucent green (the spool that was already loaded into my printer) and it didn't work. I think the card works simply by interrupting a photoelectric sensor, and the translucent PLA let the light pass through and therefore wasn't registered. Cheap black PLA works fine.
