Dental floss storage box

I. Design inspiration

Designed for the storage needs of portable dental floss, this split-type storage box features a one-piece engraved "Dental Floss Box" logo on the lid. The inner cavity of the box replicates the contours of a dental floss stick, providing a neat and organized storage solution without clutter. With its compact, rounded rectangular design, it's easy to carry in pockets or makeup bags, making it ideal for DIY printing and daily oral care needs.

II. 3D printing process

The entire set of box body and box lid are printed using PLA materials. The rounded corner structure has no sharp edges, no large area of overhanging curved surfaces, and no need for additional support. The text on the lid is molded into the shell in one piece, without the need for later engraving. The box body's snap fasteners are designed with a 0.1mm clearance, ensuring smooth opening and closing without looseness, and the printing yield rate is high.

III. Structure and Function

It features a split-fold design with a dedicated groove for storing dental floss sticks. When stored, the dental floss sticks are neatly arranged and less likely to scatter. The lid's embossed logo is highly recognizable, and the overall design is compact and portable. The sealed compartment prevents dust and moisture, allowing you to carry and store dental floss sticks conveniently. It's easy to assemble, disassemble, and retrieve the dental floss sticks as needed.
